Finances and Insurance
Payment options are discussed during the initial visit. Dr. Parisi and her staff are committed to providing excellent orthodontic care and guide patients in choosing the most comfortable payment option for their individual needs. We accept cash, check, Visa and MasterCard, and offer 3rd party financing through Orthodontists Fee Plan (see below).
Orthodontic Insurance Coverage: Your insurance is a contract between your employer and a dental insurance company. Benefits received are based on the terms of contract negotiated between your employer and the dental insurance company, and not your orthodontic office.
Orthodontic coverage often differs from general dental insurance in that there is often a “lifetime maximum” per individual, meaning that the insurance company will pay up to a specified amount which is not renewed annually.
Our office will do everything possible to help you understand and make the most of your dental insurance benefits. As a courtesy, we will complete and submit your insurance forms to achieve the maximum reimbursement to which you are entitled.
Orthodontists Fee Plan: This is a financing option available to our patients through Capital One. It is a third party administrator which offers very competitive rates to finance orthodontic treatment, allowing patients a myriad of options in both interest rates and payment length.
We understand that orthodontics is a significant investment in your or your child’s future. To make this investment as comfortable as possible, we offer the following three payment options:
- Payment in full: Cash payments up front will receive a 5% bookkeeping courtesy.
- Orthodontists Fee Plan: A popular choice for orthodontics because they do not require a down payment and you have many choices as to interest rates and payment length.
- In house payment plan: We are happy to offer you an in-house payment plan, which is Interest-free.
- For traditional orthodontics: we require a 25% down payment at the start of treatment, the balance to be divided into 20 interest-free payments.
- For Invisalign: we require a 50% down payment at the start of treatment, the balance to be divided into 12 interest-free payments.
